[Comments] She's quite a lady." ---HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco

Adoré’'s graceful, passionate style soars on wings of gymnastics, acrobatics and ballet, and is grounded in Middle Eastern, Brazilian, and African dance. A dance alchemist, she mixes seemingly opposing forms to yield breathtaking, sometimes controversial, results. She’'s a fourth generation artist in a family where self-expression is life. In addition to being a soloist and choreographer with Bellydance Superstars, she’'s a Screen Actors Guild member, with a host of film credits under her given name, Dori Levitt.

She was featured in “The Age of Kali” as Goddess Kali, was a principal “virtual dancer” on Sting’s “Sacred Love” tour, and was featured in a film for designer Erica Davies during New York Fashion Week. Adoré is a principal actor in several commercials, and can be seen in many music videos, including the bellydance themed “Snake” (R.Kelly) and “Addictive” (Truth Hurts). She starred as Queen Tara in the acro-dance drama “Ramayana” at the El Portal Theater in Los Angeles and LaMama in New York . Her extensive credits also include director and choreographer of the Off-Broadway musical revue HerSong, a herstory of women's contributions to American pop music. Adoré teaches as well, and often donates her skills to charities for at risk girls and women.

Adoré is featured on “Bellydance Superstars Live at the the Folies Bergere”, “Break Europe”, “Solos from Monte Carlo” and “30 days to Vegas”. She is thrilled to be doing what she loves with a cadre of incredible women.

Miranda Leonardo, Contributor: I am an Italian-Indian woman, who has loved the art of dance since I was a child. I admire only, and dance privately for my own internal strength and independent study. I graduated Duke University in 2005 with a Master of Arts in History. I am working on my PhD in History, enjoying my family, and will never stop dancing. (more...)
